INTRAVENOUS CATHETER
The Intravenous Catheter which is connected to
the patient's' vein, makes transferring the
injectable solution and other drugs to the patient's
body possible. The best quality FEP-tube and the
most sophisticated technology employed in the
production of these Intravenous Catheters have
simplified the proper usage of these products.
These Intravenous Catheters which are produced
in accordance with ISO 10555 come in four sizes
of. 22G, 20G, 18G, 16G.
General Specification:
* These Intravenous Catheters are sterile,
disposable, non-toxic, and pyrogen-free.
* The Catheter along with the side part allows
simultaneous injections of various drugs.
* The returned blood from the vein can be seen in
the return chamber.
* The wings guarantee the correct placement of
the Intravenous Catheter to the patient's body.
* There are radio opaque strips embedded in the
Catheter which make it sensitive to the x-rays.
The advantage of this sensitivity is that if
accidentally the Catheter gets released into the
blood flow its location in the body can be detected
by the x-rays.
* The Catheter is bio-compatible.
* The color coded injection caps specify the
diameter of the needle as well as the Catheter.
Component Specification:
* The catheter tubing is made of FEP and the
outside diameter complies with ISO 10555-5.
* The sharpness of the needles makes the
injection as easy and painless as possible.
* The needles are washed by electrolysis, and
cleaned by the ultrasound waves.
* The cap for injection is made of polyethylene,
and color coded complying with ISO 10555.
* The needle protector is made of polyethylene
with natural color.
* The wings are made of transparent
polypropylene.
* The needle holder is made of A.B.S.
Packaging:
The Intravenous Catheters are packed in cartons
containing 8 boxes of 45 pieces each.
Sterilization:
These products are sterilized by ethylene oxide.
